The Big Clean locations will be able to take all forms of payment. Our card readers, currently, are only able to take a swipe from credit cards as the “Tap to Pay” process is currently not a usable function at the machines themselves. “Tap to Pay” does work for our register system and can be used to pay for laundry products, Snacks and Wash and Fold Services.
If you have a Credit Union Card, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Cash App card, an old Credit Card that may have mapstripe issues or just any regular credit/debit card that may be having issues, we’d be happy to help by providing the option of getting a Big Clean Loyalty Card that a customer is able to load bank funds directly through our card processing company, Spyderwash, through their website: SPYDERWASH.com
Our loyalty card program allows you to load funds from your credit/debit card details or even load cash on to the loyalty card to start racking up free washes. Also every $20 or more loaded at one time, either cash or card funds, is matched by us at 5% as our bonus to you for using a Big Clean Loyalty card.
At our Mays and Parmer location, the doors automatically open at 5am for any of your self-service needs. Our MLK location automatically opens at 6am. As much as we love our furry friends, any animals/pets are not allowed inside the laundromats due to customer safety and health code liability. Certified service animals are allowed and must be under control by the Handler (Leash, Tether, Harness)
Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) do not have the same public access rights as service animals and may be denied entry to our laundromat
Last Wash is the time that our washers will automatically turn off to prepare for the store closing an hour after. For the Mays and Parmer locations, our Last Wash time is 10pm due to the location closing at 11pm. For the MLK Location, our Last Wash is 8:30pm due to the location closing at 9:30pm.
The Last Wash time deadline will only turn off machines that are not in use. For any machines still currently in the middle of their cycle after the Last Wash deadline, the cycle will still complete your load before turning off.
Ex: If you were to start your load cycle at 9:50pm at our Mays location, your clothes would continue to wash as normal until the cycle is complete (Light Wash 23 minutes, Medium Wash 27 minutes and Heavy Wash 32 minutes)
It is important to note that ALL payment must be processed by the machine and start button pressed before the Last Wash Deadline.
For our card users running close to the time deadline, we recommend choosing your settings and swiping your card BEFORE loading your clothes to ensure your payment is processed and recognized by the machine so it will not continue trying to turn off at the time deadline.
For our coin users, please make sure ALL settings are chosen and ALL coins are loaded before taking time to load your clothes to avoid being in the process of loading quarters when the time deadline hits. Partial payment will not stop the machine from automatically turning off at the Last Wash time deadline.
YES, we currently are partnered with DOORDASH/UBER for any Delivery of a drop-off or Pick-up of Wash & Fold services through their app by searching any of our locations.
